Lucknow-born-Mumbai-based Tamil actor Shiva Prakash started shooting some action
scenes for the Manees Singh film “Welcome to Chennai", directed by V Ganesha Reddy, according to a media
report by IndyaWire.com. The film which is produced
under the banner of Vrindaavan Films, also stars Nisha Parikh, Mahek Singh
and Shree Dham along with four others.

and Marathi mulgi from Pune, Shree Dham in the main lead.
According to Manees Singh, the film Welcome to Chennai
is a comedy film and is the story of a 22-year-old college youth born in North
India who shifts to Chennai for work after completing his post-graduation. In
Chennai he falls in love with a co-worker, but is confronted by a gang of
ruffians, who give him a hard time. “As Shiva Prakash has been brought up in
North India, we found him suitable for the film. The film is expected to go on
floor in mid-September,” Singh said.
Co-incidently, Shiva Prakash who is a fitness freak,
action hero and body-building fan and another Lucknow model Mahek Singh were
also selected as finalists for the
ongoing North Indian King & Queen. Another well-known model Arshi Khan was
also selected as a finalist for the North Indian Queen and Mahek Singh was selected for the North Indian Princess category.
